Pets who will have a general or communal type of cremation are collected together and cremated at
the same time. Their ashes are then stored safely until they can be scattered at the appropriate time.
Sad to say but some facilities will dispose of these ashes in the landfill or other inapropriate areas.
It you chose a general cremation, be sure you find out where your pets final resting place will be.
PLEASE NOTE: Your welcome to drive by the area. Please respect the other pets and owners. They are
on private land and are not to be disturebed. The property owners have aggreed to allow a small chunk of
land to be kept wild for the pets final resting place, as long as the location is respected.
DIRECTIONS: The location is about 105m east of Prinville. Take Hwy-26 to the Junction of the JohnDay
Fossil Beds National Monument onto County Road 19 and head north to Kimberly and turn right on
County Road 19 and head east towards Monument for about 10miles. You will know you have arrived to
the area when you see the big barn on the left just after you pass the sign to Cupper Creek Canyon.
Picture is very large.
